Teen ABA Therapy
ABA Therapy for Teens
Teen ABA Therapy at ABA Centers of Pennsylvania focuses on helping teenagers with autism learn and strengthen essential skills that will serve them for the rest of their lives.
While many teenagers struggle with behavioral issues related to flexibility and scheduling, experiences like transitions and inconsistency can cause teens on the spectrum severe distress. Neurodivergent teenagers may experience unique challenges compared to their neurotypical peers and require additional support. These personal difficulties may be related to changes in their Individualized Education Program (IEP) or interactions in complex social scenarios.
Whatever your situation requires, our team of specialists will create a customized ABA treatment plan that can change your teenager’s life and give them access to truly meaningful experiences.
It doesn’t matter if your child received their autism diagnosis later in life or if you’re experiencing changes related to your child’s IEP. ABA Centers of Pennsylvania can provide your family with the specialized attention your teenager with autism requires to navigate this phase of life.
We evolve with your child and expand with their needs to help them achieve their goals.

The Process of Teen ABA Therapy
When your teenager takes their ABA therapy journey with us, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst assigned to their case will work with them one-on-one to evaluate their needs and design interventions specified to their goals. Your teenager’s ABA team will regularly assess their progress to ensure their program runs optimally.
When a therapy plan is established and ready for implementation, a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will start conducting ABA sessions and work directly with your child. Throughout treatment, they will record behavioral data. Additionally, our ABA specialists will use observation to optimize their understanding of your child’s programming to shape outcomes positively.
As a parent considering therapy options for your teen, it’s essential to remember that timing is critical. Many client names remain on a list forever without action. Here at ABA Centers of Pennsylvania, we have the resources to provide our clients with a quick intake process that ensures families don’t experience long wait periods to begin therapy. Additionally, we offer flexible scheduling that works around your busy schedule.
